Odisha Subhadra Yojana is a flagship welfare initiative launched by the Government of Odisha to empower women financially and promote digital inclusion. Under this scheme, every eligible woman in the state receives ₹10,000 per year for five years, amounting to a total financial assistance of ₹50,000. The amount is disbursed in two equal instalments — ₹5,000 on Raksha Bandhan and ₹5,000 on International Women’s Day — through direct benefit transfer (DBT) to the beneficiary’s Aadhaar-linked bank account.
